- 1. MERCHANDISE AND NO MEMORY
My name is Mickey Mouse. And I try--I mean REALLY REALLY try--to remember. And it's not so hard in the Wasteland! There's so much stuff with ME on it! I see my face on postcards! Puzzles! Pencils! I haave no problem knowing where I've been because the cover of this ollllllllld book shows me in the jungle. And all my friends must have been there. And somewhere along the way I think I made it into a really creepy castle! See--the picture on this video game tells me I did!
- 2. CLOSED: THE PEOPLE MOVER
My name is Mickey Mouse. And I think I might like theme parks! Y'see, the Wasteland is all one big theme park. Sometimes things move when I need them to and sometimes they don't. But I don't mind waiting. And here's a really neat thing--there are these tiny floating men in cages. I break those cages right open and the little men do things for me! They'll fix the rides and get me going where I need to be. And if I ever walk back to where I first met them. . . they're still there!
- 3. WHY DO WE FIGHT?
My name is Mickey Mouse. And I try--I mean REALLY try--not to kill anything. But these little chubby and rubbery children try to bite me. So when they open their selfish little mouths, I drown their throats in paint. I see it in my mind's eye: the green paint coating their esophogus, filling their little bellies, and. . . oh god, you don't think there's lead in the paint, do you?
